Kahta Nemrut Minibus
To reach Nemrut, you can use intercity buses to the Kahta district of Adıyaman, or you can use Adıyaman Airport, which is 15 km away from Kahta. Alternatively, airports in Şanlıurfa, Malatya, and Gaziantep, which are 1.5-2.5 hours away from Kahta, can also be used. The distance between Kahta and Adıyaman is 34 km.
It is possible to get guidance and transportation services from hotels in Adıyaman and Kahta to see Mount Nemrut and the Kommagene artifacts. Minibuses can be rented if necessary. Kahta is 43 km away.
Transportation is regularly provided by ferry across the Euphrates River between Kahta and Siverek.
